So this past weekend, we decided we should go camping before the weather gets too chilly. We went up with a few of our friends(sara, josh, jimmy, chelsey). We had a blast. JD and Josh went shopping the day before and got food to make tin foil dinners, peach cobbler, s'mores, and breakfast burritos. They spent Friday after school getting everything ready to go up friday afternoon.
Thor of course had to come. He was ready in his camo tank.

We finally made it up there after getting everything packed up and ready to go. We went to an area called Red Dessert which is up above Cedar Breaks. I don't know where the name comes from because it looks nothing like a red dessert.
Thor was in Heaven. He loved chewing on all the sticks and laying in the cool dirt.
There is always a first for everything. Right when we got finished setting up our tents, there were some cowboys/farmers who were in the process of moving their cows to a different spot on the mountain right next to our camping spot.
It is kind of hard to see, but it is of the cows slowly moving along.

Thor thought he was so helpful in gathering the sticks. They were usually way bigger than he was, and he would have a hard time moving them.

He loved to get in the dirt and go for adventures through the woods.
Here we are on our way home the next day. In all it was a lot of fun. We didnt get much sleep because Thor was sleeping in our tent and everytime he heard anyone get up, he would have to get up and see what was going on before he could go back to sleep. It was a nice little get away, and fun to hang out with our friends.

yum! tinfoil dinners. i can never tell if they are really good - or if they only taste good b/c you are starving to death while camping.
maybe we will have that tonight for dinner.
Wow! It looks like you had a great time. I loved Thor's camo outfit. I'm glad he loves to go camping. That was the perfect thing to do for Labor Day weekend. I'm glad the weather was good for you.
I cannot get enough of Thor in his outfit...I can just imagine him snorling around the forest :) What a crazy bike ride you guys went on too-glad you made it back safe!!
