The other day, a bunch of the girls from the soccer team were playing and invited us to play. I have been dying to play, and JD wanted to test out his skills. Needless to say, I was pretty impressed. He even fit the image and wore some of my soccer pants!

I Can't Believe We Did Not Take Any Pictures

This past Friday, JD's parents came down for a visit. It was a lot of fun to have them here. As usual, we ate our way through Cedar and then moved onto St. George. They got here Friday afternoon, and we hung out and enjoyed the company. For dinner we went to get Sushi. JD loves sushi, and I am slowly getting used to it. It actually tasted really good and I ate more than I thought I would. After dinner, we just hung out and chatted. Saturday we woke up and went to our favorite breakfast place, Main Street Grill. After we headed down to St. George to do some Christmas shopping. It was such nice weather. Once we were done shopping, we had to hit up Cafe Rio! It was delicious as always. They left Saturday evening, so it was just a quick trip. It was fun to have them down here and we appreciate all they do for us! We are so mad we didn't get any pictures:(

Halloween Take 2

We finally broke down and decided to have a party of our own. We invited a good number of people to help us celebrate Halloween. JD and I had a lot of fun planning, making the food, and decorating. We had Hawaiian Haystacks, and had funny names for all the different toppings. We also made a foggy witches brew, and caramel apples. Other people also brought some food to share with everyone.

He is our neighbor, Robert, who lives downstairs. Thor loves him! I think its because he lets Thor lick his lips. Yummy!
We had a really fun night, and it was worth all the work that went into it.

Halloween Take 1

Last weekend, we kicked off our Halloween celebration with party #1.  Our friends that live by us had a little Halloween party.  We had lots of good food, and played some fun games.

Good Times

This past weekend my family came into town.  My parents, and my sister, Missy, and her family.  It was so good to see them, it had been a little while.  Congrats to Missy for finishing the St. George Marathon!  It was raining the whole time she was running, but she finished and did great!

Little Leah
After the race, we went to Tai Pan and got a few Halloween decorations, and pot for our mini tree we have in our house.  The rest of the evening we just hung out and my Mom and I took the girls up to see horses by where we live.  That was a big hit!  Sunday evening we went up to Kolob Canyon which is part of Zions and it is about 15 minutes away. I am ashamed to say that was my first time there.  It was so pretty and we want to go back before it gets too cold to do some hiking.

It was a great weekend and went by way too quickly! We can't wait for Thanksgiving to see everyone again!

Past couple of weeks

So here is a little update on what has been going on lately besides school! Two weekends ago was homecoming week, and it was a lot of fun. They had things going on all week and then the weekend was filled with lots of activities. We went to the soccer game, they had a parade that we missed, and then we went to the tailgate party and then the football game. Before the game started they had fighter jets fly over which was pretty cool considering we don't get that too often here in Cedar. Thor sporting his homecoming outfit!

Then this past weekend, we went up to SLC for a wedding. Friday when we got there we went to dinner with JD's parents to Texas Road House! It was so good. Then Saturday was pretty much filled up with wedding activities. We were able to sneak in a movie. We saw Forever Strong. It was pretty good. The wedding we went to was really fun and gorgeous! It ws the wedding of the paid party guest who came to our wedding. LOL

Thor also had a great time while we there. I think I saw him for a total of 15 mintues the whole weekend because he loved to be outside and play in the backyard. Needless to say, he was pooped on the way home.
