Hawaii

This trip was a dream come true! We had so much fun and it went by way too fast! Jd and I have been trying to figure out a business to open so we can move there and be beach bums all day! It was also so fun being with my Mom and Dad! We always have such a good time together and appreciate everything they do for us! Thank you for everything!

Here is the play by play of what we did everyday! This is mostly for us to remember so don't feel like you have to read this!
Saturday-We said our good byes to Thor and left him with my friend Ashley, made a stop at Einsteins, and headed to the airport. We had a lay over in LA and then made it to Kauai at about 7. We got our bags and checked into the Garden Island Inn and then went to Dukes for dinner and walked along the beach before hitting the hay.
Sunday-
Monday-
Tuesday-
Wednesday-
Thursday-Woke up and ran on the beach, we then headed to the Beach Hut and had breakfast. We walked over to the dock where the cruise ship was and the Coast Guard. We watched them for a while and then headed up to the northern part of the island. On the way up we stopped at Kilauea Point and looked at the light house, and watched the birds. We then found a new beach(Anini Beach) that we have never been to in the past. It was so pretty. We watched some wind surfers for a while and then headed on to Hanalei. We of course had to stop at the Shave Ice Bus and get the famous shave ice from the grumpy lady. It was fantastic as always! We finally made it to our destination, Hanalei beach. It is so pretty it is surrounded by moutains. We jumped off the pier there and then just hung out, swam and laid on the beach. After a few hours, we went to the taco bus and had so huge tacos! We headed to Queens Bath so we could try and be there at sunset! It was so awesome! We saw 2 big turtles there swimming but could never get a picture of them! After swimming there, we stopped at Bubba's Burgers and then headed back to our hotel!
Friday-Ran on the beach, went to Tip Top cafe for the second time, stopped at the famous Hilo Hattys, lounged on the beach/pool, ordered milk shakes and food, went into Koloa to Tom Kats for dinner, walked around the shops, and got ice cream at Lapperts.
Saturday-We walked around one of the many golf courses by the hotel, ate breakfast, stopped for lunch at BK before heading to the rope swing. After we came back and hung out on the beach/pool, my Dad got us red dirt shirts and my mom and pretty necklace. We hurried to get ready to go to the yummy saturday night buffet. We ate way too many crab legs, and prime rib. Then finished it off with way too many desserts!
Sunday-We went to church, came back and packed up, went to Kalapoki Grill, hung out at the beach/pool, showered and ready to go, ate at Dukes for the third time and had a goodbye Hula Pie. We got to the airport and were sad to go:(

It looks like you guys had an amazing time!!! It was fun to see you get more tan as the week went on. The rope swing looked like so much fun as well as the snorkeling and boogie boarding. The hotel you stayed at was beautiful. Even the pool was spectacular. I loved all the waterfalls and the pictures of the flowers you took were awesome. I didn't want the slide show to end. I'm so glad you had such a great time.

Ash and Jd, as I sat here listening to IZ, I had to look back at your fun slideshow and get all nostalgic for the wonderful time Dad and I had with you guys. You were game for anything including the Hindu Temple tour(and the wraparounds we had to wear). What fun you were! The two of you were always laughing which is very contagious. We miss you, but how lucky you are to have family who also want to spend time with you. Have a great time with Cheree and Kathy and Kevin. We know you will. Love, Mom
